Our Story
Since 1951
KOUCHTA
"The truth you wear."
1951 — The Kouchta Legacy
It begins in the golden alleys of tradition, where every facade houses a workshop and every workshop hides a master. It is there, in 1951, that Elias Kouchta, a goldsmith of Levantine origin, sets down his tools for the first time.
The name he chooses — Kouchta — means "truth" in Aramaic. Elias adopted it as philosophy, not as signage: to work only with true materials, to set only stones of known quality, to deliver only pieces that cross generations without ever lying about what they are.
In a small workshop, he hand-crafts his first rings in 18K gold vermeil — cast, drawn, hammered, polished. Each piece bears on the reverse, hand-engraved, a single word: Kouchta. The signature of truth.
Today — The Same Requirement
Three generations later, the requirement has not changed. Kouchta remains the name of a standard: that of fine jewelry that is ethical and accessible. Moissanite of exceptional brilliance. Vermeil 18K gold of undeniable warmth. Pieces designed to be worn, not stored.
Because truth is not a matter of price. It is a matter of intention.
La verite qu'on porte.
